NLP for Personal Success (Part Three)

Hi! We're on Part Three right now. :)

On chapter one, we've learned that we experience everything in this world using our five senses: eyes, nose, ear, tongue and nerve. Those senses are called 'modalities' in NLP.

On chapter one we've also learned that what we see is not the representation of the real world--since our senses can only take datas limitedly. What we have is only our perception of the world.

Book Review: NLP For Personal Success by Steve Bavister and Amanda Vickers

I've been recently reading Steve Bavister and Amanda Vickers' NLP For Success and I feel like sharing it here hehe. It's worth to be read anyway. It's a book about NLP, Neuro-Linguistic Programming. NLP is a kind of psychology method used in almost every aspect in life. Well, rather than to get bored with my explanation about NLP, let's just read the review... eh I mean quick summary below. :))

I started the new year reading 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey and I feel like WHOA it's a good book. So then I decided to share about it in this blog becauseeee this is still January and I wish we can gain something from this book. Ehehehehe.

David and Goliath by Malcolm Gladwell (Part One, Two and Three)

Malcolm Gladwell is back!

Born on September 3, 1963 (close to mine. The date, not the year of birth :p), Gladwell graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in history and later became a journalist, bestselling author, and recently a speaker.

Gladwell has been considered a thought provocator -- who happens to make us change the way we think about almost everything when/after reading his books. He has written five books: The Tipping Point, Blink, Outliers, What the Dog Saw and now David and Goliath.

After waiting for four years, Gladwell finally released his new book on October 2013. He brings the world his Gladwell-ness writings (with so much researches, lots of reading, tables, and this time, graphics!) back. David and Goliath -- Underdogs, Misfits and The Art of Battling Giants is not "just another book". It's a book you MUST read!
