Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind (7 Habits by Stephen Covey)

Hello, fellows. I know it's been a really long time since my first post on Covey's 7 Habits (yeah it's here). I was busy on the other books hehe sorry.

So, on Habit 1, we've learned that what matters is not what happens to us, it's what we do with what happens.

Being proactive means being responsible forb the things we've done, knowing that everything happens for a reason (eventho sometimes things seem unreadable) and then moving on to the next step: How are we going to respond this?

It's all our own choice, anyway.

Chapter 19: Milton Model (NLP for Success)

At first Milson Model was considered as weird model because it's different from Meta Model.

Milton H. Erickson --a very well-known hypnotherapist at that time (around the 70s) used a different approach to heal his clients.

While Meta Model used direact approach --by asking the clients directly-- Milton used disguised words by telling stories to his clients.

Why did he use such way? Well, here arethe reasons:
-It can trigger trance condition -- Milton wanted everything to happen as natural as possible so he decided to use a different approach.

- The things he said can enter the subconscious mind --the disguised words Milton used can distract the brain and make the subconscious mind be entered easily.

-It can stimulate Transderivational Search -- words Milton used had ambiguities that will trigger the TDS to find out what the words really meant.



Basically, Milton Model is the opposite of Meta Model.

Chapter 18: Strategies (NLP for Success)

What do you think when you first hear the word 'strategy'?
Sun Tzu thingy? Martial-arts-Jackie-Chan-Stephen-Chow thing? Or even Brian-Tracy-TED thingy?

Whatever it is, you're right.

Chapter 17: Timeline (NLP for Success)

If you think timeline here is the same as timline in Twitter or Facebook, well you're not 100% wrong.
In NLP, timeline is how we mentally code pics, voices, feelimgs, aromas, and sensations of experiences in past, present and future.
Our internal representation of time is another form is submodality.
